I was born in Beijing, grew up in Toronto and now I live at Waterloo. I'm a first-year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo. My passions are programming and teaching and I'm always looking for opportunities to explore outlets for these hobbies. I often get asked why I decided to pursue computer science, and my answer is simply: I love to code. My love of coding and how it can be applied to solve real-life problems came from this question. In my spare time, I like to play League of Legends, browse Reddit and hang out with my friends.

I am currently working on this personal website. To make www.cindyfang.com, I used HTML, CS, and a bit of JavaScript.

Hopefully, I will get to work on some other projects soon. Some ideas I have in the workings are an Android game and a school-related website.
